Sellavideogame.com FAQ
General
  1. Do you purchase games from international (outside the US) customers?
No. We only accept sell quotes from within the United States and its territories.
  2. Can I sell you a game not listed on your site?
Generally when games aren't listed it is because their value is too low. However, if you send us an email list of the game, we can let you know.
  3. Do you buy non-North American games?
We only purchase NTSC encoded games, which typically means games made for the US. You can usually find the information on the game or its packaging as to whether or not it is PAL or NTSC encoded.
  4. What other stuff don't you buy
Copies of any media including but not limited to games, movies, and printed material. We will not return copied items if they are sent to us.
  5. Who are you and why should I sell my games to you instead of the pawn shop, EB Games, or other buyer of games?
    • Sellavideogame.com is a separate part of the Gaming Graveyard that only buys video games. There is no selling done here. We want to give you the best prices for your games, and at the same time keep ourselves clothed and fed buy re-selling through the mediums we choose. We spend a lot of time researching the best places our games will sell (and what games will sell), so if you've got the right games/systems/accessories, we'll buy them, no questions asked.

About buying from us: you can take your games into the pawn shop, and get lowballed, or compare the prices you see online at Sellavideogame.com. We offer shipping credits so you don't get gigged for sending your games through the mail to us, and we also do local pickups in the Spokane, Washington area. Check us out, ask questions, and get some cash when you need it. We only do video games, and do them well.

  6. Do you really pick up people's sell orders in Spokane Washington and the surrounding area?
    • Yep. Within 10 miles of the Spokane Valley area, we pick up orders free of charge when you are selling over $25.00 worth of stuff. For pickups between 11 and 25 miles, there is a $10.00 debit that will be made against any sell order you place, due to the high cost of fuel these days. Over 25, miles we recommend you ship your order (we offer shipping credits!), or meeting us somewhere within our pickup range.

To initiate a pickup, simply check the 'Local Pickup' option when prompted, enter your phone number, and we'll give you a call to arrange a time and place, or if you prefer, we can communicate via email. Note: We may decline to pick up sell orders from a residential address and insist upon meeting at a business address at our discretion.
Payment
  1. How do I get paid?
By PayPal or money order. PayPal payments are usually made within 24 hours of receiving your items, but may take up to 48 hours if the sold items require further inspection. Money orders are sent via USPS 1st class mail within 2-3 business days of receiving your items. Please note there is a $0.75 shipping and handling fee for sending payment via money order.
  2. Can I Change My Payment Method After I Submit My Sell Quote?
Yes, up until the point we receive your items. Go to your account and view your Quote History.
Game & Accessory Requirements
  1. Video Game/Movie Cases
    • For cartridge-based games, we do not require the original box or case. There is no deduction in value for no box or case in this instance.
    • For disc-based games and movies, the original box or case is required along with the original artwork (case insert) from the game. A game case that is the same color, shape and size of the original game case may be substituted for the original case. We do NOT accept disc-based games or movies without a case and artwork.
  2. Game Manuals
    • For cartridge-based games, we do not require the manual. There is a 20% deduction in value for no manual in this instance.
    • For disc-based games and movies, the manual is not required. There is a 20% deduction in value for no manual in this instance.
  3. Cartridge Condition
    • For cartridge-based video games, they must be free of stickers and markings over the existing game labels. The game itself must not be excessively dirty. The cartridge labels must be whole and complete and not excessively faded. The game contacts must be free of corrosion, and the game itself must play without problems (no freezing, grey screens, etc). While we understand it is often the case that the system is the problem and not the game (especially with old NES systems), use good judgment with the cartridges you elect to send to us.
  4. Disc Condition
    • For disc-based games and movies, the game disc must be free of stickers and markings on the existing label. The disc itself must play without skipping or freezing.
